The following proposed amendment was approved by government and became effective May 7, 2011.
On December 3, 2010, the Board of the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) met to consider changes to the CRNBC Bylaws related to resolutions.
It is the College’s practice that resolutions passed or defeated at a general meeting are not binding on the Board. The proposed bylaw amendment will ensure that the College’s position on this matter is transparent.
A copy of the proposed bylaw amendment has been distributed to BC health professions colleges and has also been posted on the CRNBC website to ensure that the public and other interested stakeholders may view the proposed changes in a timely manner.
