Notice
BC’s three nursing regulators on Sept. 7th launched a survey seeking input on the process of becoming one college for all nurses in the province.
Due to a technical glitch, the email inviting LPNs to complete the survey was delayed until early on Sept. 8th, 2016.
We apologize for any confusion this may have caused—the three colleges are in regular communication and had planned a coordinated launch to this survey.
Please feel free to contact any of the three leaders if you have questions or concerns.
BC's three nursing colleges—the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC, the College of Registered Nurses of BC, and the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of BC—are joining to form a single nursing regulator for the province. This means licensed practical nurses, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurse will all be regulated by the same college.
A bold new direction
The formation of this new college marks a bold new direction for nursing regulation in B.C. As we begin this journey, we want to hear from you: what do you want your new regulator to look like? This is your chance to contribute your views, and how you would like to be involved.
How can I give input?
