Canada Post has issued 72-hour lockout notice to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, with work stoppage occurring as early as Friday, July 8. To avoid delivery delays due to potential postal service disruptions, CRNBC will not be mailing any items until the labour dispute is resolved.
As the majority of CRNBC’s services are available online, we don’t anticipate significant service disruptions. However, the following services may be impacted:
If you are concerned about the status of your application or request, please contact Registration at
firstname.lastname@example.org or 604.736.7331 to determine if there are delivery alternatives.
Applications: Online applications will be processed as usual. However, if the application requires third party documents – such as transcripts, verifications or employer references – it may be impacted.
Verification of registration: If you have requested a verification of registration for a Canadian regulatory body, your request will not be impacted as these documents are sent by email. All other requests for verification (including all educational institutions, employers and international regulators) will be impacted by a postal service disruption. CRNBC will send the document once postal service resumes.
The CRNBC library uses Canada Post to ship hard copy books and audiovisuals. Any requests for these materials will be assessed, and if available, alternative delivery options (e.g. e-books, pick-up, alternate library sources, etc.) will be shared with you. If you have questions, please email
email@example.com or call the Circulation Desk at 604.736.7331 ext. 456.
Please note: For pickup and drop off of requested materials, a pre-arranged time needs to be organised during business hours Mon-Fri, 8:30-4:30.
