Stephen Bishop, MSN, is an Instructor, Nursing Department, School of Health and Human Services, Camosun College and a staff nurse, casual, pediatric ICU, Vancouver Island Health Authority. He was elected to the Board, Sept. 1, 2015.
Stephanie Buckingham, CD, RN, MA Leadership & Training, is a retired University-College Professor from the BSN Programme, Human Health and Services Department at Vancouver Island University. She continues to work as sessional faculty at VIU, as well as a consultant for a case management company. Stephanie was elected to the Board in 2013. She previously served on the Board from 2009-2011.
Brenda Canitz, MSc, BA (Psych), NP (Certificate – Non-Practicing), is a Consultant, Health Care Researcher, Policy and Education and Adjunct Faculty, Sessional Lecturer, UVIC School of Nursing and School of Public Health and Social Policy. She was elected to the Board, Sept. 1, 2015.
Colleen Driscoll, BSN, is a registered nurse in the Daycare/PSS at Kootenay Lake Hospital, Interior Health. She has served on the Board since 2013.
Sheila Farrell, MSN, is a Clinical Practice Educator, Health Services for Community Living, Interior Health. She has served on the Board since 2013.

Colleen Hay, BSN, is a retired Acute Care Manager currently working as a casual RN in ER, ICU and PAR. She has served on the Board since 2011.
Mary Kjorven, MSN, GNC(C), is a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Gerontology, Nurse Continence Advisor, ALC Support Team, Interior Health; Clinical Instructor UBC Dept of Medicine and Associate Member, Division of Geriatric Medicine. She has served on the Board since 2011.
David Kruyt, BBA, CPA, FCMA, ICD.D, is the Chief Financial Officer for Vancouver Island Insurance Centres. He currently sits as a director on the Board of Island Health as the Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee and is a member of the Professional Conduct Enquiry Committee of the CMA (British Columbia).
Marilyn Loewen Mauritz, LLB, is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for International Forest Products Ltd. She has served on the Board since 2012.
Tricia Marck, RN, PhD, is a Professor and Dean, Faculty of Health and Social Development, at the University of Victoria.
Tricia was elected to the Board effective Sept. 1, 2014.
Jocelyn Stanton, BA, is a member of the CRNBC Registration Committee and the College of Dental Hygienists Quality Assurance Committee. Previously, she was a Communications Advisor for Island Health and Chief of Staff to the Minister of Health in British Columbia.
The board is CRNBC's policy-making and governing body. It receives its authority from the Health Professions Act. The board manages the business of CRNBC and ensures that the college meets the objects specified in the Act.
The CRNBC board is required to meet at least four times a year. Generally, it meets for regular business sessions five times a year in addition to the Annual General Meeting. Email correspondence directed to CRNBC board members using these addresses are received by the CRNBC Registrar/CEO and forwarded to the individual, as appropriate, on your behalf.
