3 things to know about renewal

posted Dec. 17, 2014

1. New changes will make renewal easier

We have simplified our fee structure to make it more straightforward for nurses. You will no longer pay a separate fee for criminal record checks (required every five years). A portion of the cost will be rolled into your renewal fee each year. Learn more about your 2015 fees

You will now report practice hours as total hours, rather than by individual employer.

We have a new password text service for 2016. If you forget your password, we will text it to you; just sign up for the service during 2015 renewal.

These improvements could not have been made without your valuable feedback. We thank all nurses for their comments.

2. Renewal is open Jan. 2 – Feb. 28

Renewal opens on Fri., Jan. 2 and closes on Sat., Feb. 28. We recommend that you renew by Feb. 1 to ensure that you can legally continue to practise nursing after Feb. 28, 2015.

3. Allow yourself up to 30 minutes to renew

While renewing, you can save the information you enter, stop, and return later to pick up where you left off.
