The College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) and the
Association of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (ARNBC) have signed a fee collection agreement supported by CRNBC’s bylaws and the Health Professions Act.
This agreement is in keeping with the priorities set by CRNBC and ARNBC to collaborate on issues related to their respective mandates. Under the agreement, CRNBC will collect professional association fees on behalf of ARNBC, starting in 2015. These fees will be a part of CRNBC’s registration and renewal fees, in accordance with the Health Professions Act and CRNBC’s bylaws, and will still include annual CNA dues. It is anticipated that nurse’s fees will not change significantly, if at all. Final fee information will be available in December 2014 after the CRNBC Board approves their annual budget and fee structure.
