PROPOSED BYLAW AMENDMENT: REGISTRATION RENEWAL DEADLINE

At its meeting on June 21, 2013, the College Board approved renewal deadline amendments to Section 4 of the CRNBC Bylaws. The amendments to Sections 4.14, 4.15, 4.18 and 4.20 change the annual deadline for renewal of registration from March 1 of each year to the last day of February of each year.

The amendments create more clarity for registrants in regards to the renewal process and eliminates any legal or operational challenges associated with the current March 1 deadline. A copy of the Schedule of proposed amendments is being distributed to BC health professions colleges and posted on the College website to ensure that the public and other interested stakeholders may view the proposed changes in a timely manner.
