The College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) is the self-governing body empowered under legislation to regulate the practice of B.C.'s registered nurses and nurse practitioners. CRNBC is the largest health regulatory body in British Columbia, and an opportunity now exists to join the senior leadership team of this dynamic organization that plays a vital role in serving the public interest in our health care system.
CRNBC’s mandate is to ensure that all individuals seeking entry to the practice of nursing and maintaining registration are competent and ethical professionals. The College does this by setting standards, supporting registered nurses to meet standards, and acting if standards are not met.
The foundation upon which much of the College’s work rests is information — and information management. As a key member of the senior leadership team and reporting directly to the Registrar/CEO, the Director, Corporate Support will lead the visioning, formulation and implementation of the College’s information management plan. This plan will include the information requirements necessary for information management, financial reporting and accountability and technology infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be the consummate information and financial management professional who is strategic in focus, systems oriented — yet also has a special talent for motivating and mentoring a highly dedicated staff of professionals who enjoy working in a positive environment.
With sound financial acumen and a strong information management orientation, you have shown your potential as a superior team leader, and an innovative, strategic thinker.
