Study to be a nurse

There are several nursing education programs in B.C., including undergraduate degrees, master's degrees, nurse practitioner degrees, and re-entry programs.

Applicants must meet entry-level competencies and CRNBC's Standards of Practice to practise as a registered nurse or nurse practitioner in B.C.

Bursaries & scholarships

CRNBC doesn't offer a bursary/scholarship program. Check your education institution or contact the Registered Nurses Foundation (RNF).

Registered nurse & RN re-entry programs

CRNBC reviews and recognizes B.C. nursing education programs and courses required for initial RN or NP registration. The College also reviews and recognizes re-entry to practice nursing programs.

After students graduate from a recognized B.C. nursing education program, they can apply for CRNBC registration.
