The CRNBC Board has approved limits and conditions that will permit registered nurses to dispense naloxone to treat a suspected drug/opiate overdose. Registered nurses who do this must have the competencies and follow the decision support tool established by BCCDC. For more information, see p. 26 in the Scope of Practice for Registered Nurses: Standards, Limits, Conditions.
