Patient Safety at the Forefront

CRNBC staff attended the 2014 Quality Forum

posted March 21, 2014

CRNBC staff members recently had the pleasure of attending the Quality Forum 2014, put on by the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council.

The forum included two intense days of presentations and interactive workshops on a variety of topics related to improving quality across the continuum of care. Of particular interest was the presentation by plenary speaker Sir Robert Francis, who chaired the Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust Public Inquiry.

College staff really valued the opportunity to meet with, listen and learn from patients, members of the public, nurses and other health care professionals from across the province.

CRNBC was also proud to be an exhibitor! We displayed our poster How Do Regulators Contribute to Quality of Care?, and got lots of great feedback from attendees. If you have comments or feedback on the poster, drop us a line. We always like to hear from nurses.
