New Web Module: Professional Standards in Nursing Practice

Professional Standards in Nursing Practice Web Module

CRNBC is pleased to announce the launch of a new Web module, "Professional Standards in Nursing Practice." The module provides flexible, self-directed opportunities to support nurses in understanding and practicing according to the Professional Standards.

Highlights include:

  • The purpose of the Professional Standards and associated responsibilities for nurses, employers and CRNBC
  • Opportunities to explore specific examples of clinical, education, administration and research practice to illustrate the ideas being presented
  • Practice-based examples the stimulate reflection and explore the support and guidance provided by these standards with selected aspects of practice, such as, use of social media and responding to challenging situations.

A unique navigation feature has been added to this module which allows nurses to look at all case examples or to streamline their learning by focusing only on those that relate to their specific area(s) of practice.
