Juliet Walsh

  • On February 1, 2012, the College of Registered of Nurses of B.C. cancelled the nursing license of Juliet Walsh of Terrace, B.C. As of February 1, Ms. Walsh cannot, by law, call herself a registered nurse or practise nursing. January 2014 is the earliest that Ms. Walsh may re-apply for registration with the College. She may not re-apply until she has completed a significant number of steps. This Order of the Discipline Committee was made under section 39(2) and (8)(b) of the Health Professions Act.
  • On April 8, 2010, a Panel of the Discipline Committee made a determination under section 39(1) of the Health Professions Act that Juliet Walsh of Terrace, British Columbia, Registration No. 0745491 (the “Registrant”) has failed to meet Standards 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the Professional Standards for Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners and Part 1.A of the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses, that the Registrant has committed unprofessional conduct, and that the Registrant has incompetently practised as a Registered Nurse.
  • On December 18, 2009, a Panel of the Discipline Committee issued an Order under section 38(8) of the Health Professions Act suspending the registration of Juliet Walsh of Terrace, British Columbia, BC registration no. 745491 (the “Registrant”) as a registered nurse registrant, on an interim basis, until completion of a full hearing on the merits of an amended Citation issued against the Registrant under section 37 of the Act.
